Why Not Just Vacation?

Through travel, I want to become someone fearless, grounded, open-minded, and capable. Someone who can adapt anywhere, connect with all kinds of people, and move through life with confidence. I want to become a person who creates meaning instead of waiting for it.

Volunteer travel especially appeals to me because I don't just want to consume a place — I want to contribute to it. I'm looking for real experiences, meaningful connections, and the chance to live within a culture rather than only observe it. To me, this next chapter is about leaving comfort behind to discover how far I’m capable of going.

I hope travel unlocks a deeper level of confidence, independence, and clarity within me. I want to trust myself more, become adaptable in any environment, and discover strengths I haven’t had to use yet. I also believe travel can help me understand what kind of life truly fits me.

What I Hope

What excites me most is freedom, adventure, meeting new people, and personal growth. I’m drawn to the feeling of waking up somewhere unfamiliar, learning how others live, and stepping into experiences that challenge and expand me. I also value the healing that can come from movement and seeing life through a wider lens.

What Excites Me

I feel pulled toward travel because I’m at a stage of life where I want expansion, not stagnation. I’ve already experienced how different places can shape who I am, and I know staying in one environment too long can limit growth. Right now, I’m seeking new perspectives, new energy, and a life that feels bigger than routine.
